HEART MURMUR !
by Blueblades injust found out that i have a heart murmur !
going for an echogram soon.now i have anxiety!
what do you know about heart murmurs,anyone have it now .i read up on it ,but,still have anxiety about it.i appreciate any infomation that will help me to calm down.

Golden Girl
Well I had 2 valves that leaked and Mitral valve prolapse. Supposedly because of High blood pressure.
My Dr finally convinced me 5 years ago to quit smoking..guess what I did 5 years ago.. They did another Echo test later and none of the valves were leaking anymore.
Also my blood pressure is under control.
I couldn't believe just stopping smoking would do that!...
Anyway..the dentist made them send a letter stating it was OK not to take antibiotics anymore before he would clean my teeth!!..
Leaking valves can sound like a heart murmer..but I don't think they are the same thing. The test you will have will show what is going on!...It's the same they give a pregnant woman..it takes good pictures..even shows your heart size..etc..
My Dr said if I didn't stop smoking..he could almost guarantee I would have Emphesema in 5 years...Well...it's 5 years later...I'm sure glad I quit..or I would probably have a Oxy tank to carry around today!

I don't see his family at all.(JW's)..My choice.
I didn't know they tore it down?..I thought they just rearranged it to come out on Hanley (Graham).

Would you take your shoes off?
by Golden Girl inif you went to someones house as a guest and they asked you to take your shoes off..would you?..would you be offended?....
does anyone know if this is proper etiquette?.
didn't know where else to post this........ my daughter was invited to a neighbors house and they requested people remove their shoes!...she never had anyone ask her that before.

I'm not sure about the prayer..but you can click on my name Golden Girl and then pull up my posting history.It should be on page 30 or 31. There is one that is called "Shared Prayer". Not sure that is it. But it makes me cry everytime I read it. A lot of people sent inspirational prayers on the link after hubby died. It sure brought a lot of tears to my eyes...good tears!...
I tried to post the link but I messed up somehow. If you can't find it..I will reprint it for you...

Went to a real funeral

i went to my first real funeral after leaving the dubs last week.
it was the first time in years i went into a church.

I think a lot of it is in the preparation for the funeral. Not many people prepare for that kind of thing. The Minister or Priest has to go with what he has.
When hubby died I just wanted to get his JW memorial over with! I was filled with grief and sadness. I knew there was nothing they could say to make me feel any better. So the least they said about hubby the better I liked it!.. If they got personal I would have broken up.
They didn't know him anyway...So what more could they say?...They like it that way..they can sell their religion more!..
So if you want something special..don't assume it will never happen to you..set your plans now and forget them.(Your funeral desires) That way your loved ones will not have to worry about it when your time comes.It is a bad time to try and make decisions.
Too many people are afraid to talk about death..but plans should be made and wishes discussed ahead of time. Before you get sick. Because then..you get in denial that you are dying and don't want to discuss it!..Been there done that!..
At least hubby did convey the wish that he be cremated. But he also requested his ashes be sprinkled at the KH. I have them in a Walnut box. I know he wanted to be free...I just have to figure out where....I would really like to wait and have both our ashes mixed and let go together!...But not at a KH!

Believe it or not..that is how my daughters cat looks now. She shaved him!..(Lion cut ..not line!)(insert smiley face)...He just had so many knots..there was no other way to handle it. I told her she should have waited until it was a little warmer!...Poor thing shivers!!!!!! He had very long hair....and his facial expression is exactly the same... Snoozy..

Well I have just about seen it all! I had someone threaten to blow my head off because he said he could "Cure cancer. And I told him he shouldn't say that! With My JW inlaws..it was always something. Including the "Black salve"..And the colored box?..Anyone remember that? Different colors for different ailments? They had the eye thing done..she told my sister in law that she had something tramatic in her past!...Like who didn't?. The girl telling her was not a JW any longer..wonder why they saw each other? Also..the JW lady that was on "all natural supplements" and only ate healthy foods and lived a very clean life...died last year of Cancer. My JW Father in law took every supplement on the market from "Becky's Root Cellar!"(Another JW)...including coffee enemas and Sharks tooth. He died of Cancer a few years ago.He also never smoked and led a very clean life!.. My JW sister in law had problems with her intestines..Took all natural herbs from a"JW"..ended up worse than before and had to have it all removed and the bag put on. Her JW Mother in law had Cancer....They fed her Noni Juice..$40.00 a bottle. She died a few months ago. My hubby was told by his JW sister and Mother that Noni juice (Only the Morinda brand)would "Cure" him of Cancer.He too led a clean life..ate right..and took his "Natural Vitamins!" The Noni would also help him with Chemo..and keep him strong!..Well..he didn't get nausea..which they claimed was the fabulous Noni..but he also received drugs with the Chemo to keep him from getting nausea!..He was also on a very low dose of Chemo because of the Liver involvement. So he drank a bottle a day.His JW Mom an sister couldn't be wrong! That came to about $1,000. a month!...Yeah..his sister got a kick back on it..she was a distributor! He passed away 2 weeks ago... So I am just a little sensitive when I hear about any quack cures!.. I talked to my pharmacist one day about "Natural supplements"vs "synthetic"..he said..how can they be different or better..everything comes from the ground anyway.. I guess the differnce is in the "Bill"... Like "Noni" juice..It is Grape juice..bluebery juice and Noni fruit juice..whatever a "Noni " is...And of course you have to have only the "Morinda" brand...It is processed the "Right " Way... Somebody stop me!!!!!!!!! Snoozy...

in the conversations that i had with the elders that were privy to the details of my daughter's molestation case, they assured me that they "had been in contact w/ hq.
" now either this is total bs, or the society directed them to not go to the law, as required.
